Blossom Solar Partners with Twende Solar and El Terreno in Ecuador

June 2, 2025

Blossom has teamed up with non-profit Twende Solar and grass roots organization El Terreno to help combat energy insecurity in the rural communities of Guaranda, Ecuador.

Located in the Bolívar province, a region with rich culture and ecological diversity, the Blossom team will be sending a crew of installers with Co-Founder Cole Anderson to install solar panel and backup battery systems on four schools and one healthcare center, for a total of 30 - 42 kW of solar on six buildings.

The goal for this project is help stabilize the energy needed for these facilities in an area of Ecuadar where blackouts are common and interrupt the daily lives and the much needed resources serving the communities.

We need

your help.

A lot goes into a project of this magnitude to ensure success, and we need your help. EG4 has donated batteries, SolArk has donated inverters, Silfab has donated the solar panels, and our crew has volunteered/donated their time. But we still need $12,000. The project needs help paying for flights, tools, all other solar and battery materials, shipping and transporting all solar and battery equipment and more.
