Solar in Lake Stevens, WA

Lake Stevens is named after the lake that the city in Snohomish County surrounds. A job the Blossom Solar team installed in Lake Stevens was a 24.8 kW photovoltaic system that was added to the roof of an out-building and greenhouse to aid in the high electrical demand. This system was also set up to be added onto in the future if any increases in energy demand should occur, and to further offset expenses. Solar systems like this can be a great way to offset business energy expenses or any additional properties you may have like a barn, greenhouse, workshop, cabins, etc. Not only that, but if your system accrues any extra kWh of energy you can use it on any neighboring properties as well.

Washington State is a state where net metering laws apply. Net metering allows grid-connected renewable energy system owners to receive credit for excess energy produced by their system. These energy credits can be carried over into other

months, like the cooler winter months where there’s less sunlight. These energy credits cannot be transferred year-to-year and are zeroed out in April every year. This is truly ideal for those who live in climates like Washington State where we have long, sunny summer days.

The Blossom Solar team looks forward to completing more projects in this area and helping more people create their own energy and reduce their net energy footprint.
