The PSE Flex Batteries program rewards homeowners for allowing their home battery to support the local power grid during times of high demand — without sacrificing your comfort or backup power needs, by allowing PSE to draw energy from your home battery system during a designated Flex event.

Upon successful enrollment in the PSE Flex Batteries program, you will receive a one-time enrollment incentive equal to $75 per kWh of battery storage, up to $1,000 maximum per battery. Once in the program, you’ll earn $.50 per kWh of energy used from your battery system for participation during Flex events.

If you already have a battery installed, this program lets you earn incentives simply by participating. If you’re considering a battery for the first time, the Flex Batteries program makes installing a battery system more affordable while increasing long-term value.
