Solar in Tacoma, WA

On the banks of the Puget Sound and south of Seattle is Tacoma, Washington. Tacoma is a mid-sized urban port city, the second largest city in the Puget Sound, and the third largest in the state of Washington. Our team recently completed a 13.86 kW photovoltaic solar installation in a residential area with the goal of 100% energy offset for the customer. Not only did their system end up accounting for an 100% energy offset for themselves, this customer chose to contribute it’s excess to their neighbors and in return received a utility credit for every shared kWh… talk about awesome neighbors! We are so happy that we get to provide the solution for another family to create their own sustainable energy!

The demand for solar systems is at a steep incline in the U.S. and Washington state is no exception to that. The temperate weather on the west side of Washington is perfect for the optimal performance of solar panel systems. Contrary to popular belief, Washington receives 70% as much solar as southern California, and receives 20% more than Germany, the world leader in solar installations.

2022 is currently set up to be the last year of the 26% federal tax credit and 2023 will be the last year (as of now) to receive any tax credit at all - 22% of the system cost. With Blossom Solar’s promise of low pressure sales and a team committed to informing and answering any questions or concerns that may arise, you are bound to discover a perfect solar system design for you and your home, whatever your needs may be
