Solar in Anacortes, WA

Anacortes is a small town in Skagit County and a notably desirable place to live in Washington, giving the residents a sparse suburban feel with highly rated public schools and waterfront city views. There is a large amount of growth in solar panels in Skagit County as a whole, following the community investment program. In 2013, Anacortes Middle School installed the first solar system with this program and following that a second installation totaling 5 arrays, capable of generating 85,300 watts of power for their facilities. Needless to say, community interest grew.

After interest in solar spiked, our team installed a solar system on a residential home near the water. This homeowner chose to finance their PV solar system within 6 years and will have the whole system paid off within that timeframe, which means they will get to 100% energy cost offset and be independently producing their own energy at no additional cost.

There are a multitude of great options for financing your solar panel system and really something for every budget. A great benefit of choosing a solar loan is there are no early repayment penalties, so you can payback your debt at your own pace. You can opt for a 20 year loan while some folks prefer to choose a 3-4 year loan and quickly pay off the balance. Not only that, but you can get one year of free re-amortization as well as the 26% federal ITC tax credit of your total system cost.
