Solar in Guemes Island

Tucked away, this ground mount backfeeds this customer's utility expenses across two properties. Seen here is a system that feeds directly into the red shop seen in the photo and feeds into the home behind the trees. Each building is on a different property and has a separate utility meter but the same owner. When this is the case, we can "aggregate" the owner's meters so that the solar system generates credits that will apply to both properties!

Highlighted here are a few of the benefits of ground mounted solar. This home has a fantastic view of the water, does not have the best azimuth on the roof, and the shop roof is a little close to the trees and not quite big enough for optimal production for the client's needs. This client had the ability and available space to protect the view, size the system large enough, and place it in the best location to maximize production. With the great benefit of meter aggregation, only one large system was needed saving on material, permitting, and installation costs. We can chalk that up to a win, win, win.
